Shelly describes the two jobs she simultaneously held down as a teenager, catering at Bradwell Power Station during the week and as a housemaid at weekends at Beeleigh Abbey, which enabled her to generate the funds for a car. She also took a year out as a nanny in Houston before returning with her future husband.
